Dr. P.N. Sinha Prizes for Best Essay
Is an annual feature. This time the topic of the essay is “SUDDEN-HEARING LOSS its management
Eligibility:
Medical Graduate from Bihar within 10 years of graduation.
Must be a life member of Bihar and Jharkhand State branch AOI.
Last Date for submission of essay is last working day of July 2002.
Results will be announced during the conference.

Please send you entries in two typed copies by registered post to Hony. Secretary, AOI, Bihar & Jharkhand Branch.
 
Dr. S.P. Sinha Memorial Travel Fellowship

Is given once a year to two young ENT specialists to visit one centre of ENT outside Bihar for at least 21 days. The minimum award will be Rs. 1,500/- each.

Eligibility:
MBBS from a Medical College in Bihar and Jharkhand within ten years preceding the year of award.

MS in ENT from a University of Bihar and Jharkhand in preceding five years from the year of award.

Must be a member of AOI Bihar and Jharkhand State Branch. Must have attended at least one conference of Central AOI and one at State level.

Should have a publication in either National or State Journal.

Last date of submitting the bio-data with photo copies of the above request to Hony. Secretary, AOI-Bihar and Jharkhand State Branch is last working day of May 2002 by registered post.

The criteria for selection may be relaxed but the applicant must be an MS..

 
Dr. C.D. Sinha Memorial Scientific paper Award

The Dr. C.D. Sinha Memorial Prize is an annual event and will be awarded to the scientific paper declared as the best at the 26th Annual Conference of AOI-Bihar and Jharkhand State Branch. It is open for all members. The last date for submission of free paper synopsis will be notified later.
 
Dr. S.P. Sinha Quiz Contest

This is an annual event at Annual Conference of AOI-Bihar and Jharkhand State Branch and is open to all members. The participants should get themselves registered with Chairman Scientific Committee, 26th Bihar and Jharkhand State Conference, Jamshedpur.
 
AOI P.G. Travel Fellowship

Will be given once a year to a post graduate to visit one center of excellence outside Bihar for a period of 21 days. The award will carry a citation/certificate and a sum of Rs. 750/- .The award would be on the basis of presentation of the paper at the State level conference.

Eligibility:
MBBS from a Medical College in Bihar or Jharkhand. Must be doing his M.S. / DLO from a Medical College in Bihar or Jharkhand. Must be a member of Bihar & Jharkhand State Branch. Must have attended at least one conference of central AOI/State level. Last date for submitting biodata with photocopies of paper is the last working day of July 2002 to the secretary, Bihar & Jharkhand State Branch.
