Season’ Greetings & happy New Year to you and your family!

We feel privileged in extending most cordial invitation to you and every Otorhinolaryngologist in the country & abroad to come down to Bihar in January 2003 with family and friends to attend the AOICON in the historical city of Patna.

The scientific programmes including pre-conference CME, the Workshop, prestigious Orations and guest lectures will definitely provide exposure to the latest in the speciality, as well as, interaction with the learned faculty. Surgery for hearing impairment, FESS, Rhinoplasty, Conservative surgery in malignancy of head & neck will be highlights of the AOICON – 2003. Post-graduate trainees, Residents & young colleagues are specially invited.

The occasion will also facilitate social interaction & an opportunity to visit places of historical & mythological importance in Bihar & Jharkhand. Hot springs at Rajgir, ‘Jalmandir’ at Pawapuri, excavations of ancient seat of education at Nalanda, Lord Budha’s circuit including Bodh-Gaya, Rajgir & Vaishali, birth place of Guru Govind Singh in Patna Saheb, Sher Shah’s tomb at Sasaram, Indian Oil Refinery at Barauni, National Park at Hazaribagh, Steel cities Jamshedpur & Bokaro, hill station Netarhat near Ranchi are some of the famous places worth visiting. A trip to neighbouring Himalayan country Nepal will be another attraction.

The registration charges are the same as for AOICON-2002 in Bangalore. The colleagues who availed of early registration for AIOCON-2003 have received an attractive gift of Madhubani- painting, besides an offer to first 50 delegates of a complimentary day-time trip to the famous place Vaishali driving across the Ganges.

In January, Bihar, Jharkhand and Nepal remain quite cold, so you are advised to come with proper woolen clothing.
