Sita and Dassam Falls
:Sita falls is adjacent to Johna falls. The best time to enjoy the beauty
of Sita falls is in the early morning .Dassam falls where river Kanchi
falls from the height of 144 feet, is situated at a distanceof 34 kms from
Ranchi.

Johna Falls : also known as the Gautumdhara. The Johna falls (140 feet) is situated at the distance of 40 kms from Ranchi on the Ranchi -Purullia road. The scenery around it is very picturesque and is a popular picnic spot . |

town, with a Shiva Temple on the top. One can have a panoramic view of
the town and the surrounding from the top of the hill.
Kanke Dam : The Dam located about 4kms on the Ranchi - Kanke road has great scenic beauty and is a popular picnic spot. Ranchi Lake : This lake is situated in the
heart of the town near the foot of Ranch hill.
Heavy Engineering Corporation : A Government of India undertaking factory situated at Hatia about11 kms southwest of Ranchi. The HEC factory comprises of three major plants viz : Foundry Forge, Heavy Machine Tools, and the Heavy Machine building plants. Hatia Dam : is located about 12kms from the
city of Ranchi.
